William L. Stephens

William L. Stephens, 62, of W.
Calvert St., South Bend, IN, died at 11:17 p.m. Thursday in
Hospice House. He was born September 12, 1932 in South Bend and
was the son of Byron B. and Ruby Lee (Owens) Stephens. Mr.
Stevens was employed with Allied Signal. Surviving Mr. Stephens
are three daughters, Margo Hartman, Marti Stephens and
Marci Stephens, all of South Bend; three grandchildren, Andrew
Hartman, Britney Stephens and Hanna Stephens; and three sisters,
Aileen Ashbrook and Maxine Ferency, both of South
Bend and Barbara Stephens of Virginia Beach, VA.
Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m.
Sunday in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial
will be in Sumption Prairie Cemetery. Mr. Stephens was a Navy
veteran. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St.
