MISHAWAKA - Joan R. Sterzik, 64, of 222 East 8th St., died at 1:30 a.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, of natural causes.

On March 17, 1950, in South Bend, as Joan R. Dark, she married Donald E. Sterzik. He died June 25, 1980. Surviving are a daughter, Kathy E. Huys of Granger; three sons, Dan E. of Granger and Jeff A. and Mark A., both of Mishawaka; four grandchildren; a sister, Rosemary Clady of LaPaz; and a brother, John Dark of Lakeville.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
