MISHAWAKA - Mrs. Jerry Stoeckinger, 52, of Peacock Lane, Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away of natural causes at 2:00 a.m. Sunday, June 10, 2007, at the home of her caregivers. Jerry was born October 28, 1954, in Norwalk, Connecticut, to Ralph J. and Dorothy (Michek) Hensley.

Jerry is survived by her sons, Brandon L. and Sean A. Stoeckinger of Mishawaka; and her former husband, Rodney Stoeckinger of Mishawaka. She is also survived by her brothers, Dennis (Pam) Hensley of South Bend, Indiana, Warren (Mary Ann) Hensley of Milford, Connecticut, and Keet Hensley of Holly Hill, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be no visitation, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Jerry was employed as a manager by Dollar Bill's Dollar Store in the Town & Country Plaza in Mishawaka for several years. She enjoyed decorating homes, gardening and crafts, and working at her job. She also was an avid fan of NASCAR. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to either the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care or to the American Cancer Society.
