MISHAWAKA - Mary Magdalene, 64, widow of the late Valentine Stoeckinger, who had been in failing health for several months, passed away yesterday morning in her residence at 211 South West Street. Her maiden name was Giel, and she was born in Bavaria, Germany, June 5, 1840.

She was married to her late husband 43 years ago and they came to America and located in Mishawaka 23 years ago. Surviving are five children, Sebastian, Joseph, Mrs. William Schneider and Mrs. Charles Koeppen, all of this city, and George Stoeckinger of Minneaopolis.

The fiuneral will be held from St. Joseph Catholic Church at 9 o’clock Saturday morning.
