Frances V. Streich

Feb. 4, 1920 - March 17, 1998

Frances V. Streich, 78, of Manchester Drive, Mishawaka, Ind., died at 6:04 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, in St. Joseph Community Hospital.

She was born on Feb. 4, 1920, in Elkhart, Ind., and had lived in this area most of her life.

As Frances V. Compton, she married Richard Streich in Mishawaka on May 19, 1950. He survives.

Frances is also survived by two daughters, Kathleen Molnar of Mishawaka and Sue Metzner of Granger, Ind.; a son, Charles Streich of Birmingham, Ala.; and by seven grandchildren, Julea, Jonathin, Jamensen, Michelle, Brittany, Keith and Drew.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Szobody.

Frances had formerly worked at Miles Laboratory as a private secretary.

She was a member of East United Methodist Church, where she belonged to the Women's Club and Friendship Class and had formerly taught Sunday School. Frances was active with P.T.A. and was past president of the Beiger and Mishawaka High Schools' P.T.A.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday in East United Methodist Church, where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
