Wilma Strohl

Sept. 8, 1910 - April 3, 1997

Wilma Strohl, 86, formerly of North Byrkit Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 10:03 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, in Miller's Merry Manor, Wa-karusa, Ind.

Wilma was born in Mishawaka on Sept. 8, 1910. She retired in 1975 from the South Bend Medical Foundation after 16 years of service as a lab technician.

She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Avery of Streamwood, Ill., Janice Pascocello of Farmingville, N.Y., and Shirley Homann of Logansport, Ind.; one sister, Ethel Carnes of Hawaii; two brothers, Homer Thomas of South Bend, Ind., and Merle Thomas of Mishawaka; 15 grandchildren, Sherri Miller of Niles, Mich., Donald Strohl, Jr., of Japan, Donna Russell of Blanket, Texas, Terry Avery of McHenry, Ill., Cindy Diller of Middlebury, Ind., Deborah Davis of Nippersink, Wis., Dale Avery of Lake-in-the-Hills, Ill., Stephanie Pascocello, Christina Pascocello and Jennifer Pascocello, all of Farmingville, N.Y., Rhonda Rainwater, David Strohl, and Annette Ashburn, all of Mishawaka; Paul Homann, Jr., of Lafayette, Ind., Natalie Homann of Lyndhurst, Ohio; and by 19 great-grandchildren.

Wilma was preceded in death by a son, Donald Strohl in 1974; and by a brother, Floyd Thomas in 1959.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind.
