SOUTH BEND - Graveside services and burial
for Edna M. Stroup, 90, of 25242 W. Edison Road, who died after
an illness at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday in her home, will be at 11 a.m.
Thursday in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Hanley & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph
County Inc.
Mrs. Stroup was born Jan. 13, 1906, in St.
Joseph County. On July 26, 1924, in St. Joseph County, as Edna M.
Milliken, she married George R. Stroup. He survives with a
sister, Nina Boyles of New Carlisle; four nieces, Vada M. Millar
of Bakersfield, Calif., Marie Boyles of South Bend, Linda Marlow
of Boise, Idaho, and Rita Willingham of Mishawaka; and a
nephew, Robert Boyles of South Bend.
