Charles F. Sulok

March 6, 1934 - June 11, 2002

Charles F. Sulok, 68, of Vans Lane, Vandalia, Mich., passed away at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, in Hospice House, South Bend, Ind. Charles was born in Granger, Ind., on March 6, 1934. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary (Nagy) Sulok; two brothers, Andrew and Joe Sulok; and by a sister, Vi Bradway.

 

Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was employed by Lumber Services of Cassopolis, Mich., as a truck driver for 30 years, retiring in 1994. He also worked for United Express Lines of Bristol, Ind.

 

He is survived by two daughters, Clarissa A. Sulok of Granger and Carol L. Dainton of Arizona; two sons, Charles M. Sulok of Granger and Curtis J. Sulok of Elkhart, Ind.; five grandchildren; one brother, Victor Sulok of South Bend, Ind.; and by five sisters, Julia Wuergler of South Bend, Margaret Nelson of South Bend, Mary Vargo of Granger, Ann Woofter of South Bend and Rose Zmyslo of South Bend.

 

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Pius X Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior to the Mass. Friends may call in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, from 3 to 8 p.m. today, with a vigil service at 4 p.m. Burial will be at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.
