Anton Szabo, 86, of 1505 N. Brookfield St., died at 5 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital after a long illness.  He was a retired Oliver Corp. employee.  He was born August 26, 1881, in Hungary, and had lived here most of his life.  His wife, Anna, died in 1958.  Surviving are his son, Anton T. Szabo of South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. Julia Tschida, of Salem, Oregon; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Nemeth Funeral Home.  Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Very Rev. Msgr. F. G. Peterson, pastor officiating, burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
