SOUTH BEND - Lottie M. Szabo, 75, of
Healthwin Hospital and Nursing Home, formerly of U.S. 31 North,
died at 3:50 a.m. Tuesday in the nursing home. Mrs. Szabo retired
in 1984 from Bendix Corp. She was born Dec. 31, 1918, in
Wyandotte, Mich., and lived in South Bend most of her life.
In 1944, in South Bend, as Lottie Szymanowski,
she married Alex Szabo. He survives with a sister, Joann Todd of
Lincoln Park, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in Zahoran Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Healthwin.
