SOUTH BEND - Services for Mary K. Szabo, 85, of Koko Court, who died at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Family & Children's Center Foundation, 1411 Lincoln Way W., Mishawaka, Ind. 46544.

Mrs. Szabo was the owner of the former Chapin TV. She was born March 22, 1908, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. On Oct. 30, 1926, in South Bend, as Mary K. Pali, she married Joseph F. Szabo. He died June 24, 1958. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Lou Pozsgai and Lillian C. Dhaene, both of South Bend; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. A son, Joseph, died Dec. 13, 1986. She was a member of the church, William Penn Club, National Association of Letter Carriers Auxiliary and St. Theresa Society.
