Peter P. Szabo (Jan. 30, 1919-Jan. 6, 1996)

SOUTH BEND - Services were Jan. 10 for Peter P. Szabo, 76, of Boynton Beach, Fla., formerly of South Bend, who died Jan. 6 in Bethesda Memorial Hospital, Boynton Beach. Cremation has taken place. National Cremation Society, Greenacres City, Fla., handled arrangements.

Mr. Szabo worked for South Bend Electric Co. for 23 years and retired in 1982 from McDonald Distributors in Florida. He was born Jan. 30, 1919, in South Bend. He is survived by his wife, Cornelia Szabo of Boynton Beach; a daughter, Christine Conte of Winter Haven, Fla.; a son, James of Maple Valley, Wash.; six grandchildren; and a sister, Ann Papoi of North Port, Fla. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
