Amaryllis Jean Tagliaferri

MISHAWAKA – A. Jean Tagliaferri, 62, of East Fourth Street, died at 12:42 p.m. Tuesday in her home after an illness. She was employed by St. Joseph Hospital for 22 years. She was born April 2, 1929 in Francesville and lived in Mishawaka most of her life.

 

On July 8, 1950 in Mishawaka, as A. Jean Malchow, she married Joseph J. Tagliaferri. He survives with three daughters, Cheryl F. Luers of Granger, and Lisa M. Lares and JoAnn Tagliaferri, both of Mishawaka; four sons, Mark, Daniel and Matthew, all of Mishawaka and Patrick of Osceola; 10 grandchildren; her mother, Sylvia Malchow of Francesville; three sisters, Mary Lou Poisel of North Judson and Phyllis Aniliker and Lynette Miller, both of Francesville; and three brothers, Leroy Malchow of Francesville, George Malchow of Idaville, Ind. and Charles Malchow of Momon. She was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

 

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the church. Entombment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday in HahlDeVos Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 3:30 p.m.. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
