MISHAWAKA - Stephen F. Takach Sr., 57, of East Ninth Street, died of natural causes at 9 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Hospital. Bubb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

MISHAWAKA - Services for Stephen F. Takach Sr., 57, of East Ninth Street, who died at 9 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Hospital after an illness, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St.

Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., where a parish rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.

Mr. Takach retired in 1989 from Uniroyal Plastics Co., Mishawaka, in the Ensolite division as a foreman. He was also a part-time bartender for the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was born May 25, 1937, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. On July 25, 1959, in Temple, Texas, he married Frances G. Lessig. She survives, with a daughter, Christine M. Takach of Mishawaka; a son, Stephen F. Jr. of Meyrin, Switzerland; three grandchildren; and two brothers, Ralph J. of Mishawaka and Richard C. of South Bend. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 2083, Good Fellows Club, and the church. He was an Army veteran.
