"EX-MISHAWAKA TEACHER DIES

 

     Mrs. Minnie Fink Tascher, aged 76, of 321 West Fourth street, died at 5 a.m. today in her home.  Mrs. Tascher was born Dec. 24, 1870 in Bremen, Ind., and had lived in Mishawaka most of her life, coming here in 1882.  She was graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1891 and taught the second grade in Battell school from 1891 to 1917.

 

     Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Effie M. Barney, of Indianapolis, and a brother, Earle J. W. Fink, of Mishawaka, three nieces and three nephews.  Friends may call in the Ellsasser-Bent chapel from 2 until 4 and from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.  Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel.  Very Rev. Erland L. Groton, dean of St. Paul's Episcopal procathedral, will officiate and burial will be in City cemetery.  She was a member of St. Paul's church."
