Lucille M. Thomas

November 2, 1899 – December 3, 1985

Lucille M. Thomas, 86, of 1121 E. LaSalle Ave., died at 1:40pm Tuesday in Meridian Nursing Center Cardinal after an illness.  Mrs Thomas was a retired stenographer for Goldman-Sachs Co., Chicago.

She was born November 2, 1900, I Clinton IA, and had lived in South Bend six years after coming from Chicago.  On August 24, 1930, in Clinton, she married Henry E. Thomas.  He died in 1974.  She is survived by a brother, James E. White of South Bend.

A memorial mass will be said at 8am Thursday in St Joseph Catholic Church.  Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines IL.  There will be no visitation.  Hickey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Mrs. Thomas was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church & Altar Rosary Society.
