MISHAWAKA - David Allen Thompson, 20, passed away early
Saturday, August 16, 2008, in his home. David was born on August
28, 1987, in South Bend, as the son of Donald and Kimberly (Bush)
Thompson. Surviving David are his loving parents, Don and Kim
Thompson, with whom he made his home; a sister, Ashley Thompson
at home; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Olivia Bush of South
Bend; maternal great-grandmother, Freddy Ruskowsky of
Mishawaka; paternal grandparents, Charles and Dorris Thompson of
Mishawaka; and David's aunts and uncles, Wayne Bush, Joel Bush,
Sharon Smith, Brandy (Keith) Zacherich, Janet Nelson,
Laurie (Scott) Weaver and Charles Edward Thompson II;
along with many cousins and friends. David was a kind and gentle
person who was loved by his family and many friends; his smile
and laughter will be missed. David loved to watch all cooking
shows and any game show on TV. He was an avid NASCAR fan along
with being a huge follower of WWE wrestling. David was a 2006
Mishawaka High School graduate.
Family and friends may visit from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 19, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, in the funeral home, with Rev. David Schrader officiating. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions in David's memory be made to the family, c/o the Hahn Funeral Homes.
