Glenna M. Thompson, 93, formerly of Ontario Road, Niles, Michigan, and St. Paul's Retirement Community, passed away Thursday, November 25, in Hamilton Communities, New Carlisle, Indiana.

She was born on January 9, 1911, in Teegarden, Indiana, to the late Clyde W. and Pearl B. [Johnson] Divine.  On May 2, 1931, in Tyner, Indiana, she married Richard Thompson, who preceded her in death December 2000.  Also preceding her in death were two brothers and one sister.

Glenna was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Glenn is survived by her loving family: three daughters, Norma Jean [Charles] Nelson of South Bend, Gloria [Gail] Humbles of White, Georgia, and Jerilyn [Charles "Bud"] Johnson of Nashville, Tennessee; nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jeanette [Chuck] Stegman of South Bend, and Alice Klopenstine of Alabama and Evelyn [Cliff] Packard of South Bend; three brothers, Gail [Maxine] Divine of Mishawaka, Earl [Helen] Divine of Rochester, Indiana, and Paul [Wilma] Divine of Mishawaka.

Friends may visit with the family Sunday, November 28, from 4 to 5 PM in the Welshimer Family Funeral Home, 521 North Williams Street, South Bend.  Funeral services will be Monday, November 29, at 10 AM in the funeral home, with Rev. David Jenkins officiating.  Burial to follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Indiana.

In lie of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 3001 west Cleveland Road, South Bend, Indiana

Glenna M. Thompson, 93, of Hamilton Grove Communities died Thursday in her home of natural causes area survivors include three daughters, Norma J. Nelson of South Bend, Gloria Humbles of White, Georgia, and Jerilyn Johnson of Nashville, Tennessee; three sisters, Jeanette Stegman and Evelyn Packard, both of South Bend, and Alice Klopenstine , of Georgia and three brothers, Gail Divine and Paul Divine, both of Mishawaka, and Earl Divine of Rochester.  Services will be at 10 AM Monday in the Welshimer Family Funeral Home, 521 North Williams Street, South Bend, where friends may call from 4 to 6 PM Sunday.
