MISHAWAKA - Maryann Thompson, 64, of South Union Street, passed away at 3:40 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, in St. Joseph Community Hospital, Mishawaka, Ind. She was born on March 31, 1932, in South Bend, Ind.

Survivors include her companion, Dale Johnson, with whom she made her home for 16 years; her mother, Cecelia Zigert of Mishawaka; three daughters, Laura Iorio of Granger, Ind., Rebecca Bowyer of South Bend, and Dawn Condon; two sons, Dean Overholser and Don Overholser, both of South Bend; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Sonny Mudrovich and George Mudrovich, both of South Bend; two stepsisters, Debbie and Linda; and two stepbrothers, John Spagnola and Ablert Spagnola. Maryann was preceded in death by her father, George Mudrovich.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jaan. 16, in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Ave.; burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, in the funeral home, where a rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Maryann was a volunteer with St. Joseph Hospital in Mishawaka. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
