Agnes Tordi, 83, of West 10th Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 24 at 7:25 p.m. in her residence. Mrs. Tordi was born on Feb. 1, 1916 in Scranton, Pa., as the daughter of the late Romeo and Domenica Lacchini.

On Aug. 1, 1936 in St. Monica's Catholic Church, Mishawaka, as the former Agnes Lacchini, she married Ceaser Tordi, who survives. She is also survived by two daughters, Veronica (Dennis) Maggioli of Mishawaka and Florine (Paul) Novak of Granger, Ind.; one son, Robert F. (Sue) Tordi of Granger; ten grandchildren, Karen Radde, Kevin, Greg, and Jeff Maggioli, Teresa Steach, John, Chris and Jeanie Tordi, Mia and Gina Novak; and by 17 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Tordi was preceded in death by a son, August N. Tordi on March 7, 1964. Mrs. Tordi was a member of St. Bavo's Catholic Church and the De Amici's Club Ladies Auxiliary.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, where a Rosary will be recited at 5:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27, in St. Bavo's Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. James Shafer officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
