SOUTH BEND - Marie I. Toth, 86, of
West Dubail Street, died at 11:55 p.m. Thursday in Northwood
Nursing Home. Mrs. Toth was born Jan. 7, 1910, in Hungary, and
lived in South Bend most of her life.
On April 15, 1947, in South Bend, as Marie Szyarto,
she married John Toth. He died July 27, 1990. She is survived by
a sister, J. VanSlager of San Diego; a brother, James
Szyarto of South Bend; a niece; and a nephew.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Saturday in
Zahoran Funeral Home. Cremation will follow, with burial in
Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday
in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the
church.
