SOUTH BEND - Richard Trzaskowski, 68,
passed away at 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, in his residence.
Richard was born on March 3, 1940, in South Bend, to Casimier and
Helen (Kulwicki) Trzaskowski. His father preceded him in
death. On April 27, 1974, in South Bend, Richard married Grace (Kryszczuk).
Richard is survived by his wife, Grace; mother, Helen of Granger;
daughters, Candace (Leon) Zuercher of Indianapolis, IN,
and Catherine Trzaskowski of South Bend; three granddaughters,
Whitney, Hailey and Katie Zuercher; two sisters, Patricia (Joe) Bubelyni
of South Bend and Delphine (Jim) Everett of Granger; a
brother, Walter (Jan) Trzaskowski; a sister-in-law, Theresa
Osowski of South Bend; many nieces and nephews; and special
friends, Jeff "Yeff" and Kim Kinyon. Richard
worked for Sears before retiring in 1991. He was a parishioner at
Holy Family Catholic Church, was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and
a member of American Legion Post 357.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. A Rosary will be prayed at 12:30 p.m. A funeral liturgy will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Guardian Angels Mausoleum at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice or to the American Legion Post 357 Building Fund.
