SOUTH BEND - Catherine Marie "Kay" Tudor, 90, of
South Bend, IN, formerly of Michigan City, IN, and Marion, IN,
died following a brief illness at 8:55 p.m. Wednesday, November
12, 2008, in Sanctuary at St. Joseph Care Center West, South
Bend. Mrs. Tudor was born April 1, 1918, in St. Joseph County,
Indiana, to the late John G. and Mabel (O'Connor) Hollis,
and had lived in South Bend since September 16th, coming from
Marion. On October 22, 1937, in Michigan City, she married
Raymond B. Tudor, who preceded her in death in 1978. Also
preceding her in death were three brothers, Raymond, James and
Richard Hollis. She is survived by a sister, Betty Ritz of
South Bend; one niece, Diane Morgan of Seffner, FL; and
three nephews, George Ritz of Galveston, TX, James Ritz of
Middletown, PA, and Carl Hollis of Emmaus, PA.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Private graveside services will be held at Estates of Serenity Cemetery, Marion, IN, at a later date. Welsheimer Family Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., South Bend, is assisting the family with arrangements.
