Timothy Ezra Turner

SOUTH BEND - Services for Timothy Ezra Turner, 90, of 312 Hamden Court, who died after an illness at 5:02 p.m. Sunday in his home, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Seventh-day Adventist Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Alford's Mortuary.

 

Mr. Turner was a former janitor for Wheelabrator-Frye Corp., Mishawaka. He was born Aug. 11, 1905, in Middletown, Ohio, and lived in South Bend since 1928.

 

On July 16, 1974, in Las Vegas, he married Mary Wilson. She survives with four stepdaughters, Bobbie Fisher, Trena Jackson and Ruth Harris, all of South Bend, and Alveria Wilson of Indianapolis; four stepsons, Troy Wilson, Gill Williams and Ed Thorpe, all of South Bend, and Lewis France of Arden, N.C.; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Taylor of Washington, D.C.; and a brother, Rufus of Cincinnati. He was a member of the church.
