Catherine Bridget Turnock

Mrs. Catherine Bridge [sic – Bridget] Turnock, 73, a former resident of Niles and a sister of Thos. Flynn, died at her home 1226 E. Cedar street in South Bend, Monday morning after one week of illness from pneumonia. She was born in Niles, but had spent most of her life in South Bend. Surviving are the husband, William: five sons, William, Benjamin, Thomas and Edwin, all of South Bend, and John, Tulsa, Okla.; three daughters, Mrs. James J. Joyce, Mrs. L. B. Duck, Mrs. Paul Kurueter, both of South Bend, and one brother, Thomas Flynn, Niles. The funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o’clock.

Editor Note: Catherine was the daughter of Ellen Flynn of Niles and the sister of Sarah G. Flynn, who married Louis A. Hickey.
