William Jack Tusing

Oct. 22, 1916 – May 14, 1987

William Jack Tusing, 70, of Fort Wayne, formerly of South Bend, died about 2:30 p.m. Thursday in his home after an illness. He was a sales promotion manager for Stillmaws Department  Store in Fort Wayne. He was born Oct. 22, 1916 in Detroit.

 

On Oct. 8, 1938 in South Bend, he married Jill M. Ronconi. She survives with a daughter, Marsha Daerr of Mission Viejo, Calif.; a sister, Maxine Smith of Winter Haven, Fla.; two brothers, Jack of South Bend, and James of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and his mother, Glaydy Tusing of Winter Haven, Fla.

 

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place. The Hahn’s-DeVos Funeral Home, Mishawaka, is handling local arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to churches to have Masses said, Mr, Tusing was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of American Legion Post 296, Fort Wayne.
