Ronald E. Tuttle, 60, of Strawberry Hill Road, South Bend, died at 6:50 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital. He was born March 17, 1936, in South Bend and had lived here all his life. In 1994, Mr. Tuttle retired from Koontz Wagner Electrical Company.
In 1953, in South Bend, he married Ruth Hogan. She survives along with three daughters, Rebecca Bishop, Jennifer Tuttle, both of South Bend and Elizabeth Tuttle of Mishawaka; a son, Thomas Tuttle of South Bend; 14 grandchildren, Shawn St. John, Shannon St. John, Shaolin St. John, Christine Carstens, Corey Carstens, Nicholas Carstens, Heather Bella, Andrew Bella, Ashley Bella, Brittany Bella, Jason Tuttle Dobskowski, Karlie Tuttle, Sheralyn Tuttle, and Brandy Tuttle; three sisters, Vivian Ireland and Delores Cranmer, both of Mishawaka and Barbara Muncie of South Bend.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, South Bend.
