MISHAWAKA - Dorothy L. Ullery, 71, of Lilac Drive, died about 11:15 a.m. Saturday in her home of an illness. Mrs. Ullery was born May 27, 1923, in South Bend and was a lifelong resident.
On Sept. 4, 1943, in Mishawaka, as Dorothy L. Huff, she married Otto Ullery. He survives with two daughters, Patricia Vargo of Osceola and Barbara Masso of Glassboro, N.J.; a son, Donald of South Bend; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five sisters, Virginia McDaniel, Carol Huff, Donna Ziegert and Beverly Bruegel, all of South Bend, and Dixie Binney of Evansville, Ind.; two brothers, Jack Huff of Bloomington, Ind., and Robert Huff of Lakeville; and a half brother, Hubert Staton of Freeport, Ill.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County
