Blanche Marie Unger. 

Blanche Marie Unger, 87, of 1302 S. 33rd St., died at 2:32 p.m. Wednesday in Regency Place Nursing Home.  She retired in 1961 from Clark's Laundry after 30 years of service.  She was born on April 26, 1899, in Bourbon.  She had lived in South Bend since 1924, coming from Bourbon.  On April 14, 1931, as Blanche Sullivan, she married Oral Clark Unger, who survives.  Also surviving are two granddaughters, Norma McGee of Tampa, Fla., and Sherry Darites of Hollywood, Calif.; two grandsons, Howard Culvert of Columbia, S.C. and Robert Lee Woods III of Hollywood; and a brother, Elmer Sullivan of Buchanan.  Two children, Donna Bell Stetler and Robert Lee Woods II, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Hickey Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson Blvd.  Burial will be in Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call from 10 a.m. until noon Friday in the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness North, of which she was a member.
