William G. Vanden Bossche, 70, of Nipomo CA, died on Thursday, April 2, in Verwood, England.

Mr. Vanden Bossche was born on February 14, 1928, in Mishawaka IN.  He was raised and attended school in South Bend, graduating from South Bend Central Catholic High School.

He was a Boy Scout leader in Troop 111 (St. Matthew’s parish) and was an active member of St Jude’s parish from 1950-1968.  He worked for the Studebaker Corporation until 1968, when he moved to Los Angeles CA, where he worked as risk manager for MCA, Inc., until his retirement in 1986.  After retirement, he moved to Nipomo CA.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Eulalia Marie Vanden Bossche of Nipomo; children, Chris Vanden Bossche of South Bend, Valerie Vanden Bossche of Los Angeles, and Sharon Viggiano of Palo Alto C; brothers, the Rev. John Vanden Bossche of Notre Dame IN, Paul Vanden Bossche of South Bend, and Michael Vanden Bossche of Rochester IN; and by four grandchildren.

formerly of South Bend, died April 2 in Verwood, England. Survivors

include his wife Eulalia Marie; two daughters, Valerie Vanden Bossche

of Los Angeles and Sharon Vanden Bossche of Palo Alto, Calif, a son Chris

of South Bend; and three brothers, John, and Paul both of South Bend

and Michael of Rochester. Services were in Santa Maria, Calif. Hoffman

Funeral Home, Santa Maria handled arrangements.
