Rose M. Van De Putte, 86, of West 7th Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away Monday, Dec. 24, in Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa, Ind. Rose was born on Sept. 11, 1915, in Norway, Mich., as the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Vande Berge) De Cruwer.

 

On April 8, 1950, in Mishawaka, as the former Rosalie De Cruwer, she married Wilber Van De Putte. Rose is survived her husband of 51 years, Will of Mishawaka, and by several nieces and nephews.

Rose was a employed by the former Uniroyal for 41 years and retired in 1974. She was a member of St. Bavo's Catholic Church.

 

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, in St. Bavo's Catholic Church, Mishawaka. Rev. Barry England will be officiating. Contributions in memory of Rose may be made to St. Bavo's Catholic Church, 505 W. 7th Street, Mishawaka.
