Herbert Marcelenus Vanderbosch

SOUTH BEND - Herbert M. Vanderbosch, 69, of 921 S. 23rd Street died at 3 a.m. Thursday in Memorial Hospital after a six-months illness. He was a former salesman for Levy-Ward Grocers and also City Awing Company. He was born in Avilla on Sept. 16, 1901, and had lived in South Bend since 1910.

 

On June 27, 1936 he married Bernadette Meyer, who survives, along with two sons, Larry of South Bend, and Keith of Lafayette; a daughter, Mrs. Jeanne Neely of South Bend; four grandchildren; four brothers, John, Amandus, Adolph, all of South Bend, and Edward of LaPorte, and a sister Mrs. Johanna Thallemer of Mishawaka.

 

Friends may call until 9 p.m. today in the McGann Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10a.m. Saturday in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Rev. Thomas Lallak officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Jill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home.
