James E. Vanderbosch

MISHAWAKA – James Vanderbosch, 65, of West Mishawaka Ave. died Friday at 2 a.m. in his home in an apparent heart attack. Mr. Vanderbosch retired from the former Pace and Company as an architectural engineer. He was born Sept. 5, 1925 in Mishawaka, and was a lifetime area resident.

 

Surviving are four sisters, Dorothy Lindry and Ruth Huyvaert, both of South Bend, Carol Chamberlin of Mishawaka, and Shirley D’Haenens of Thousand Oaks, Calif. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, a member of Knights of Columbus 553, St. Monica’s Catholic Church and AARP.

 

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Monica’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 4:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
