SOUTH BEND - J. Craig Vandergriff, 45, of South Bend
passed away at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, in his residence. Mr.
Vandergriff was born on Nov. 29, 1962, in Bonne Terre, MO, and
had resided in the South Bend area since 1977, coming from
Indianapolis. He is survived by his loving parents, J.C. and
Bonnie J. (LaClare) Vandergriff of Winter Springs, FL; two
daughters, Mellissa R. Vandergriff of Lafayette, IN, and Jessica
C. Vandergriff of South Bend; maternal grandmother, Jane LaClare
of Lebanon, IN; a sister, Jennifer C. (Boyd) Smith of
Germany, and a brother, Eugene Vandergriff of South Bend.
Mr. Vandergriff worked for 51/2 years at
L.L. Low & Associates in South Bend as a certified Microsoft
computer technician. He was classified as a systems engineer
(MCSE). He loved sports, mainly the St. Louis Cardinals. He
deeply loved his two daughters and leaves behind a loving family.
He will be sadly missed by his loving family and numerous friends
he made during his life journey. The family ask, PLEASE make all

Private visitation and services were held
for the family on Tuesday, Dec. 18th, in the Hanley & Sons
"Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home, and burial took place
in Florida. The HANLEY & Sons "Southwest Chapel"
Funeral Home handled arrangements and services and extends its
deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to the Vandergriff family.
