Julia Van Driessche

January 10, 1917 – July 26, 1981

Mrs. Julia A. VanDriessche, 64, of 627 S. Lake, died at 10am Sunday in her home after an unexpected illness.  She was employed by Dairy Queen.

Born on January 10, 1917, in South Bend, she lived here all her life.  On August 30, 1941, in South Bend, as Julia Pullman, she married Philip VanDriessche.  He survives along with a daughter, Miss Shirley VanDriessche of Mishawaka; six sisters, Mrs. Irene Bickel, Miss Josephine Pullman, Mrs. Helen Manuszak and Mrs. Agnes Mejer, all of South Bend, Mrs. Margaret Hodges of Phoenix AZ and Mrs. Mary Drummond of Huntington Beach CA; and three brothers, John, Frank and Anthony Pullman, all of South Bend.

Services will be at 10am Wednesday in the Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home. Rev. Walter Bly, associate pastor of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, will officiate.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.  Friends may call until 9pm today in the funeral home.
