Victor A. Van Goeye

February 23, 1899 - June 7, 1969

Funeral services will be held at 10am Wednesday in Sacred Heart Church, W. Thomas St., for Victor A. Van Goeye, 70, of 17852 US 20, New Carlisle, who died in his home at about 6:30pm Saturday.  Rev Joseph Horvath, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

Friends may call at the DeVos Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka, after 7pm today.  The Rosary will be recited in the chapel at 7:30pm Tuesday.  Mr. Van Goeye was born February 23, 1899, in Westdorpe, the Netherlands, and married Genevieve Van Heesbeke May 17, 1922 in Sacred Heart Church, South Bend. He was a retiree from the Studebaker Corp of South Bend.

Survivors in addition to his widow are a son, Ronald Van Goeye, New Carlisle; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Freitag, South Bend; two brothers, Hubert Van Goeye, South Bend an Andrew Van Goeye, Kalamazoo MI; two sisters, Mrs. John Penninck, Westchester PA and Mrs. Camiel Van Wiemeersch, Detroit MI, and six grandchildren
