Clement Van Heesbeke

November 7, 1874 - May 18, 1963

Clement Van Heesbeke, 88, of 27852 US 20, New Carlisle, died at 7:30am today in his home after a brief illness.  Born November 7, 1874, in Westdorpe Holland, the Netherlands, he came from there 61 years ago.  In 1902 he married the former Marie Buysse, who died in 1955.  He was a retired farmer.  He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Genevieve Van Goeye, of New Carlisle, and Mrs. Madeline Butler, of Bluffton IN; two sons, Cyril and Arthur Van Heesbeke of New Carlisle; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Marie Kersburg on the Netherlands.

Friends may call Sunday in the DeVos Funeral Chapel in Mishawaka, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30pm, Monday.  Funeral services will be held at 9am Monday in Sacred Heart Church, 1130 W. Thomas St., South Bend.  Very Rev Msgr Elmer G. Peterson, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
