Maurice VanOutreve

August 21, 1908 – April 25, 1969

Maurice VanOutreve, 60 of 2918 Ford St., died at 2pm Friday in St Joseph’s Hospital of an apparent heart attack.  He was the assistant foreman in the meter department of South Bend Water Works and was a former employee of the Levy-Ward Wholesale Grocers for 26 years.

He was born August 21, 1908, in South Bend, and had lived here all of his life.  He was married June 4, 1932, to Stella Pulaski who survives.  Also surviving are a brother, Rene VanOutreve of South Bend and two sisters, Mrs. Emil VanDePutte of South Bend, and Mrs. Marcel Speybroeck of Niles MI.

Friends may call after 7pm today and 1 to 9pm Sunday in the Hickey Funeral Home.  Services will be at 10am Monday in Corpus Christi Catholic Church.  Burial will be Highland Cemetery.
