SOUTH BEND - Callie Grace Van Tornhout, one month old, passed away unexpectedly at 1:12 a.m. Saturday, January 30th, in Memorial Hospital. Baby Callie is survived by her loving parents, Craig R. and Katie M. (Court) Van Tornhout of South Bend; a brother, Cole M. Van Tornhout at home; and by her maternal grandparents, Barbara and Steve Court of Bremen, IN, and paternal grandparents, Ron and Linda Van Tornhout of South Bend; maternal great-grandparents, Bill and Joan Bremer of Mulberry, Florida, and David and Jewel Court of Lakeville, IN; and paternal great-grandmother, Zelda Wildenauer of South Bend. Also several cousins, aunts and uncles survive. For five long years we dreamed of a baby to hold in our arms. At last, on Christmas Eve, our little miracle was born. She was beautiful and perfect, our dream came to life. We loved her with our hearts and souls. She brought more joy to us in her short time on this earth than we ever could have imagined. Now she will forever be our Angel in Heaven. "Those we have held in our arms for a little while, we hold in our hearts forever" In lieu of flowers, please make all memorial contributions in care of Baby Callie Grace Van Tornhout to any 1st Source Bank. Visitation hours will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, February 1st, in HANLEY & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home, located at West Ireland Road/Indiana 23, South Bend. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 2nd, and will be PRIVATE, family only. "Baby Callie, you are a true Angel!" The HANLEY & SONS "Southwest Chapel" funeral Home handled arrangements and services and extends its deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to the Van Tornhout family.
