MISHAWAKA – Services for Albert VanVooren, 66, of 502 S. Jackson Street, who died Tuesday morning in St. Joseph Hospital will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Bavo’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday in Thallemer-Goethals Funerl Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

He retired from National Mill Supply where he was a pricing clerk. He was born Sept. 23, 1920 in New Carlisle and lived most of his life in Mishawaka. On Sept. 11, 1948 he married the former Mary Louise Deschamphelaere. She survives with a daughter Vicki Gates of Mishawaka; twon sons, Dan and Michael, both of Mishawaka; a grandchild; and two brothers, Emiel and Harry, both of Mishawaka. A sister Elizabeth Witz, died in 1980. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
