Camiel Van Wynsberghe

September 27, 1877 - November 10, 1960

Camiel Van Wynsberghe, 83, of 1134 E. Calvert St., died at 10:30pm Thursday in his residence.

He was born in Bellem, Belgium, on September 27, 1877 and resided in this area for sixty years.  In 1908 he was married to Martha Buysse, who survives.  Also surviving are six brothers, Oscar and Emil Van Wynsberghe of South Bend, Achiel and Cyril Van Wynsberghe of Mishawaka, Raymond Van Wynsberghe of Van Wert OH, and a brother in Belgium; five sisters, Mrs. Valerie VandenBossche and Mrs. Emma DeVreese of South Bend and three sisters in Belgium.

Friends may call after 10am Saturday at the DeVos Funeral Chapell, Mishawaka.  Services will be held at 9:30am Monday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on West Thomas Street with Very Rev. Msgr. Elmer G. Peterson, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Mr. Van Wynsberghe was an employee at the Oliver estate since 1900.  He was a member of the Sacred Heart Church and a charter member of the St Vincent DePaul Society of that parish.  The rosary will be recited at 8pm Sunday at the funeral home.
