John Vaszari

John Vaszari, 90, of Miller's Merry
Manor, Walkerton, passed away at 2:25 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18,
2006. Mr. Vaszari was born on December 13, 1915, in South Bend,
to John and Regina (Jakatics) Vaszari. He retired in 1978
from International Harvester where he had been employed for 23
years. John served during World Ear II and the Korean Conflict in
the United States Army.
Surviving are four nephews, Michael C.
Vaszari of South Bend, John Vaszari of Rancho Palos Verdes,
Calif., Bob Vaszari and Skip Vaszari, both of Lakeville, IN;
three nieces, Ann Pacini of Milan, Italy, Reggie Vaszari
of South Bend and Treresa Fansler of Lakeville, Ind.; four
great-nephews, Danny Bloss of Niles, MI, Ken Bloss of
Walkerton, Robert Vaszari and John Vaszari, both of Rancho Palos
Verdes, Calif.; and a great-niece, Christina Vaszari of Rancho
Palos Verdes, Calif. John was preceded in death by two brothers,
Michael Vaszari and Julius Vaszari.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m.
today in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Ave. Burial
will follow at Highland Cemetery. Family and friends may call
from 2:30 p.m. until time of services in the funeral home. In
lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harbor
Light Hospice.
