Services for John Z. Vegh, 64, of 19509 Southland Ave., who died at 6 a.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Jude’s Catholic Church. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Vegh was born Aug. 3, 1922, in South Bend, and lived here all his life. On Sept. 18, 1948, in South Bend, he married Irene Lemanski. She survives with a daughter, Sharon McElroy of Austin, Texas; a son, John of Osceola; three grandchildren; a sister, Ann Marie Chikar of South Bend. He retired in 1984 from Bendix Corp. Mr. Vegh was a Navy veteran of World War II.
