WYATT - Martha K. (Austin) Vendola, 53, died Friday Jan.
4, in her residence, of natural causes. She was born on March 2,
1954, in Lakeville, IN, to Leonard and Vera (Coon) Austin.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Kreske. She
was a lifetime area resident. She enjoyed crafts and sewing. She
was a waitress, bartender and cook, worked at Snydley's
Restaurant in Bremen for several years, worked at the Pirate's
Cove in Mishawaka and at the Woodland Inn.
Survivors include a son, Jason (Beth) Kreske
of Wyatt; grandchildren, Cassie and Shawn; brothers, Jerry
(Brenda) Austin and Jimmie (Terry) Austin, both of Walkerton;
sisters, Joan (Craig) Stein of Lakeville and Virginia Ballinger
of Mishawaka; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no services. Cremation will
take place after visitation. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m.
Tuesday, Jan. 8 in the Mishler Funeral Home. Memorials may be
made to American Cancer society, Mishawaka or the Pet Refuge,
Mishawaka. The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the
family with arrangements.
