Lillian E.
Vernasco, 69, of Wood Dale IL, formerly of Mishawaka, died about 5pm
Wednesday in the Bensenville Health Care Home, Bensenville IL,
after an illness. Mrs. Vernasco retired in 1981 from the Marshall
Field & Co in Chicago, after 35 years of service.
she was born February
11, 1917, in Elkhart. On January 6, 1945, in Chicago, as
Lillian Dean; she married Neil Vernasco. He survives with
two sisters, Edna Burke of North Palm Beach FL and Betty Kelba of
San Bernardino CA.
Services will be
at 10am Saturday at St Bavo's Catholic Church. Burial will
be in Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Friday at Hahn's DeVos Funeral Home,
where a Christian prayer service will be held at 8pm.
