MISHAWAKA - Leona B. Vincent, 97, of
Brandychase, Granger, formerly of Homewood Avenue, died at 4:45
a.m. today in her residence. Mrs. Vincent retired in 1953 from
Uniroyal Technologies Inc. She was born Jan. 23, 1898, in
Belgium, and lived in Mishawaka most of her life.
In South Bend, as Leona B. Coddens,
she married Emil Vincent. He died in 1970. She is survived by a
daughter, Marie L. Pierce of Granger; a grandchild; four
great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was
a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, South Bend.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Hahn
Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, South Bend.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the
funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of
St. Joseph County Inc.
