SOUTH BEND - Mary H. Viski, 83, of
St. Joseph Care Center-West, formerly of South St. Joseph Street,
died at 7:10 a.m. Friday in the nursing center. Mrs. Viski
retired from the city of South Bend as a secretary. She was born
Aug. 16, 1912, in South Bend.
On April 15, 1944, in Dayton, Ohio, as Mary Hipsak,
she married Louis W. Viski. He died June 28, 1978. She is
survived by six nieces and nephews; 14 great-nieces and
great-nephews; and 10 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
She was a member of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church.
Private services will be Monday in Hickey
Funeral Home. Entombment will be at Highland Mausoleum. There
will be no visitation.
