Adeline Vocke: (Michigan City News Dispatch 12/27/1996)


Adeline R. Vocke, 70, Michigan City, formerly of Valparaiso, died Thursday morning (Dec. 26, 1996) at St. Anthony Hospital, Michigan City. Arrangements are pending at the Dykes Funeral Home, Valparaiso. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Vocke was born Sept. 2, 1926, in Michigan City , the daughter of Joseph and Tillie Klosinski Pawloski. She married William E. Vocke, who survives. Also Surviving are two daughters, Linda (Charles) Polarek, Westville, and Jennifer (James) Kleve, St. Louis, Mo.; two sons, Eugene (Lorraine) Vocke, and Bruce (Pamela) Vocke, both of Kouts, Ind.; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Francis “Bud” Pawloski and Kenneth Pawloski, both of Michigan City, and Donald Pawloski, San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert R. Vocke. She was a member of Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, Michigan City. She was a former member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Valparaiso, and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church.
