Robert Vocke: (The Vidette Messenger 9/7/1979)

Robert Vocke, 31, of 58 Harrison St., died Thursday at Billings Hospital in Chicago after a lengthy illness. Born in Michigan City June 29, 1948, he was a son of William and Adelyne (Pawlowski) Vocke. Surviving are a daughter, Bobbi Jo of Peoria, Ill.; his parents of Valparaiso; two brothers, Eugene of Kouts and Bruce of Valparaiso; two sisters, Jennifer at home and Linda Peterson of Raymond Washington. Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Dykes Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church with Msgr. John J. Charlebois officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation is 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
