SOUTH BEND - Eleanor A. Vogler, 84, of St. Louis, formerly of South Bend, died Sunday in Northgate Park Nursing Home, St. Louis, after an illness. Mrs. Vogler retired as an executive secretary at Associates Investment Co.

She was born May 3, 1910, in Mishawaka, and lived most of her life in this area. Her husband, Arthur Adam Vogler, died in 1969. Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Gibbons of Derry, N.H., and Joyce Stalteri of San Jose, Calif.; a son, George A. of St. Louis; 14 grandchildren; and a sister, Velma Antes of Chicago.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m.
